Dubbed the Vans Authentic Womens Blank Tapes, this latest collab between the two ins inspired by VHS tapes. The Vans Authentic is made to mimic the look of a blank VHS tape. It features a Black suede and nylon upper equipped with blank VHS cassette labeling, and a translucent plastic tongue reminiscent of the cassette’s magnetic tape spool. The midsole also comes with
more Vans Authentic Mens labeling, the outsole features an RGB color model and the footbed sports a holographic Bodega print, in the style of anti-pirating security stickers.
Vans just dropped a newly designed Authentic dubbed the Vans Authentic Cheap. This iteration of the model comes with a canvas upper covered in a burred checkerboard print done in Black and Classic White. What you end up getting is a classic motif with a modern twist (or blur). Beware, if you stare at these shoes for long enough, they may end up making you feel a bit dizzy, ha.
We get a bunch silhouettes working these elaborate prints but honestly, I feel like none of the can do what the Vans Authentic Sale can do. The Vans Authentic CA is constructed in textile materials this time around, creating an original print with stripes, diamonds, the who nine yards. The upper trades off between blue and black, while a turquoise hue handles some of the print.
